This quilt pattern is dedicated to my sweet mom, Nyla. She taught me to sew when I was just 10 years old, and I was able to sew on a gifted machine. Mom learned to sew in 4-H, and each garment creation was perfection. County fairs were graced by her suits and dresses, with above 90% blue ribbons won. She made a lot of our clothes, including some very loud shorts I’d wear to school! I loved them! Easter dresses and Halloween costumes were her jam, too. When it came to homemade things, we were spoiled rotten.
Her talents don’t stop there. She’s also very musically inclined on piano and organ. Plus, every holiday was well-decorated and special. I’m so grateful for her! I love you, mom! And she’s here to see all the quilty fun, just for her!
